Former Fox News producer Jennifer Eckhart was arrested for battery after a violent altercation with her boyfriend, just weeks after settling a rape lawsuit against ex-anchor Ed Henry, highlighting the emotional turmoil and ongoing controversies surrounding her traumatic past.
Jennifer Eckhart, a former associate producer for Fox News, was arrested on suspicion of battery in Palm Beach County, Florida, on July 18, 2025, just a month after she settled a high-profile rape lawsuit against ex-anchor Ed Henry.
The 34-year-old was taken into custody around 1 PM after an altercation with her boyfriend, Thomas Beasley, who reported that she became violent following the end of their relationship.
According to the arrest affidavit, Eckhart allegedly knocked over items in Beasley’s office, struck him, and demanded he delete video evidence of the incident.
Eckhart’s mugshot, in which she pouts for the camera, quickly drew attention online, especially in light of her recent legal battles.
Beasley provided police with video footage showing Eckhart yelling, striking him, and ripping his shirt, which further complicated her already tumultuous public image. After her arrest, she was released on her own recognizance without bail.

The timing of Eckhart’s arrest is particularly significant, coming just weeks after she reached a settlement in her lawsuit against Henry, which she filed in 2020.
Eckhart accused the former Fox News anchor of sexual assault, claiming he handcuffed, beat, and raped her in February 2017 during what she described as a campaign of “grooming.”
Henry, who was fired from Fox News shortly before she filed her lawsuit, denied the allegations, asserting that their relationship was consensual and involved BDSM practices.
In her lawsuit, Eckhart detailed harrowing claims of being “violently raped while helpless and restrained in metal handcuffs.” Following a lengthy legal battle, she settled the lawsuit in June 2025, expressing the emotional toll it had taken on her.
She described it as an “exhaustive, retraumatizing, five-year legal battle with incredible challenges that at times I almost felt was unable to bear.”

Eckhart’s legal troubles did not end with the settlement. Earlier this year, a federal judge dismissed part of her lawsuit against Fox News, ruling that there was no direct evidence the network was aware of Henry’s alleged harassment before her termination.
Eckhart claimed she was fired in retaliation for her complaints about Henry, alleging that he shared explicit images of her as a form of revenge.
However, Fox News maintained that her dismissal was due to “substantial performance deficiencies” and was not related to her allegations against Henry.
The fallout from her accusations against Henry has been extensive. While Henry has since found work at Newsmax, he has consistently denied any wrongdoing and insisted that their relationship was consensual.
In court documents, Henry’s legal team argued that Eckhart cherry-picked excerpts of their text conversations to frame him as a rapist, claiming that their exchanges were part of a consensual affair that included sadomasochistic elements.

Eckhart’s arrest adds another layer of complexity to her already controversial narrative. Following her legal battles, she launched a podcast titled REINVENTED, where she discusses generational trauma and aims to provide a voice for survivors.
Additionally, she founded a non-profit organization, The Reinvented Project, which offers animal-assisted therapy to trauma survivors.
As the public grapples with the implications of Eckhart’s recent arrest, many are left wondering how her tumultuous past and ongoing legal issues will affect her future endeavors.
Will she be able to rebuild her life and reputation after these incidents, or will the shadows of her past continue to haunt her? With the media spotlight now back on her, the unfolding drama promises to keep viewers and followers intrigued as more details emerge.
