Gordon Ramsay, 52, proudly carries newborn son Oscar out of hospital before taking him on a tour of his restaurant

Gordon Ramsay looked elated as he took his newborn Oscar home for the first time as he documented leaving the hospital with a grinning snap on Sunday.

But just before the family headed home, the 52-year-old TV chef stopped off to show his son around his restaurant Bread Street Kitchen.

In a sweet picture, Gordon was every inch the proud dad as he showed off his little boy clad in a bear onesie as the father and son duo posed in the hospital corridor.

He said: ‘Here’s a picture of daddy taking me home !! #welcomehomeoscar.’

In a snap shared later, the dad-of-five clutched hold of a knife and fork as he leaned over his son who was snoozing in his baby carrier.

Joking he found his next top food critic, the Hell’s Kitchen star hilariously captioned the post as if it was from Oscar saying: ‘First time at dad’s restaurant… I’ll let you know how the food is.’  .

All of the snaps have been uploaded onto Oscar’s new Instagram account which has an ever-growing following of 27.4k admirers as of Monday.

Brooklyn Beckham, a close family friend of the Ramsay’s, is among the stronghold of followers on the new social media account.

Gordon and Tana announced the arrival of their fifth child on social media with the words: ‘After 3 BAFTAs and one Emmy… finally we have won an Oscar.

‘Please welcome Oscar James Ramsay, who touched down at 12.58 today for some lunch Xxx.’

Gordon and Tana suffered a miscarriage in June 2016, and the celebrity chef admitted, in spite of the tragedy, the devastating loss brought his family closer together.

Gordon reflected in an intimate interview with the Daily Mail’s weekend magazine: ‘It has brought us all so much closer.

New arrival: This comes as Gordon Ramsay’s children paid a sweet tribute to their new baby brother as twins Jack (above) and Holly shared beautiful snaps with the newborn.

‘You realise how lucky you are and you reflect on what you have, how fortunate you are with your remaining children and you remind yourself of what you’ve got. It’s made the family unit even tighter.’

The TV personality jubilantly spoke about expecting their fifth child on The Late Late Show in the US – telling good friend and host James Corden ‘We have three girls and a boy… and one more on the way!’

But five months into the pregnancy, his wife was taken into the Portland Hospital in London, where they were left grief-stricken upon discovering they had lost the child.

That didn’t take long: The beautiful newborn has already got its own Instagram account and one very famous follower, Brooklyn Beckham, who is friends with the Ramsay children.

Gordon said the family battled through their pain with the help of supportive relatives and friends.

He said: ‘The support we’ve had has been unbelievable. You don’t realise until it happens to you how many people are affected. Sadly it happens every day.

‘Friends have rallied and we’ve got through it together, as a family. We were devastated, but thankfully we’re through the worst now. It could happen at any time to anyone.’
