😱💔 “He Chose Jay Over Me!” — Dame Dash Exposes Kevin Hart’s Hollywood Betrayal & the Secrets He’ll Never Speak About 🎭🔥
In Dame Dash’s version of events, the story begins in 2002 on the set of Paper Soldiers, a scrappy comedy that also marked Dame’s directorial debut.
Back then, Kevin Hart was far from the global superstar he is today.
He was just a hungry comic from Philly, and Dame says he saw the spark immediately.
He cast Kevin, gave him his first break, and even brought him into his next project, Death of a Dynasty, where Kevin played multiple characters — including a parody of Diddy.
For years after, they kept in touch.
Dame remembers visiting Kevin when he was still with his first wife, Tori, a time when their interactions were frequent and easy.
But then came the shift.
The next time Kevin had a career milestone — a sold-out Madison Square Garden show — Dame says his phone didn’t ring.
“The minute he got to a certain level, he stopped calling,” Dame recalls.
That silence wasn’t random, he claims.
It was the product of Kevin moving into a different circle — one where Jay-Z loomed large, and where people, Dame says, “keep a good secret.
” In this world, loyalty is currency, and those who question the terms are quickly cut off.
“All of a sudden… new friends,” Dame notes, his voice a mix of disappointment and recognition.
But Dame’s accusations don’t stop at hurt feelings.
He points to choices Kevin made along the way — choices Dame says he would never have agreed to.
Like Soul Plane, a film Dame refused to produce because he didn’t want to see Hollywood profit from mocking Black culture.
Kevin took the role.
Then there was the Get Hard billboard in 2015, featuring Kevin braiding Will Ferrell’s hair — a visual gag Dame says he would have refused outright.
“I wouldn’t braid another man’s hair on a billboard.
I don’t care who it is,” Dame says flatly.
To Dame, these aren’t just harmless career decisions.
They’re symbols of compromise — of playing the game by rules he’s always refused to follow.
“I don’t like to use the devil’s money,” he explains.
“Because then you work for the devil.
” That refusal, Dame believes, is why he’s struggled to get funding for his own projects, while others who accept those terms rise quickly.
Then there’s the Diddy connection.
Dame doesn’t directly accuse Kevin of wrongdoing, but he notes the timing: Kevin’s growing friendship with Jay-Z, his appearances at Diddy’s parties, and his silence as allegations
swirl around both men.
“If I could ask him, I’d be like, ‘Yo, what were you doing over there? And why are you so quiet about it?’” Dame says.
That quiet has become part of the narrative.
When Kelly Clarkson once mentioned on Kevin’s talk show that she’d turned down millions to do something she “didn’t want to do,” Kevin cut her off almost instantly.
To some viewers, it looked like recognition — like he knew exactly where that conversation could go, and he didn’t want it aired.
The speculation intensified after a New York Post report about a rumored tape from a Diddy party involving a “major A-list male celebrity.”
Two major networks are allegedly fighting to buy it, and while no names have been confirmed, Kevin’s name keeps surfacing online — fueled further by a paparazzi clip where he
dodged questions about hosting one of Diddy’s events, visibly tense as he shut the conversation down.
It all plays into the picture Dame is painting: Kevin Hart, once an underdog he championed, is now deeply embedded in a world where loyalty flows upward, not back to the people
who helped you get there.
Dame says he doesn’t hold grudges, but he’s blunt about what’s changed.
“He won’t help me promote anything I’m doing,” Dame admits.
“The people I do the most for… they resent me the most.”
Fans are connecting the dots between Dame’s comments, Cat Williams’ earlier claims that Kevin is an “industry plant,” and Kevin’s own public behavior.
And with the Diddy scandal still brewing — and rumors of that video potentially surfacing — some believe more skeletons could soon come tumbling out of Kevin’s closet.
For Dame, the equation is simple: in Hollywood, doors open when you play by certain rules.
He chose not to.
Kevin, he says, made different choices — and those choices came with a cost.
“You never get to that door,” Dame says of the final gate into the industry’s inner sanctum.
“We always got to the first door.
But behind that second door? That’s where they keep the real secrets.”
Kevin Hart hasn’t responded publicly to Dame’s latest round of remarks.
But as Dame keeps talking — and as more eyes turn toward the powerful connections Kevin now protects — the silence itself may become the loudest part of this story.
