Rihanna’s 2015 animated feature film, Home, has quietly surged back into the spotlight, climbing into the Top 10 streaming charts on Peacock in the United States.

As reported by FlixPatrol’s daily rankings, the movie has become a surprise streaming hit years after its theatrical run.

While the film was not considered a critical darling at the time of its release, the title’s heartfelt story, colorful animation, and the Work hitmaker’s dual role as both lead actor and soundtrack contributor have reignited fan appreciation.

With the resurgence of Home on streaming, it continues to prove how much power animated features carry.

Home is a DreamWorks Animation film that tells the story of Oh, a quirky alien from the Boov race, who befriends a courageous teenage girl named Tip Tucci, voiced by Rihanna. An animated sci-fi comedy, it follows the adventure of Oh and Tip Tucci as they search for her mother during an invasion of Earth.

Based on the 2007 children’s book The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex, it is directed by Tim Johnson and features an ensemble cast. Apart from the Diamonds singer, the cast also features Jim Parsons, Steve Martin, Jennifer Lopez, and Matt Jones.

Exploring themes of belonging, friendship, and family as the unlikely duo embarks on a worldwide adventure to save Earth, the film makes for a heartwarming watch. In addition to being one of the leads, the Umbrella hitmaker also created a concept album for the film, also called Home, containing over 8 original songs.

Today, the film’s popularity on Peacock shows how some movies find a second life through streaming, gaining appreciation years later.

While her underappreciated film continues to climb the charts on Peacock, there are rumors going around that the singer might be having a baby girl with A$AP Rocky.

Currently pregnant with the couple’s third child, the singer shares two sons with Rocky, RZA, 3, and Riot Rose, 2.

Recently, she unveiled her cover for HOMMEGIRLS magazine Volume 14, posing in oversized pink cargo shorts and green plaid, while showing off her baby bump.

Captioning the Instagram post with ‘HOMMEGIRLS VOLUME 14 feat.

my next fashion killa,’ her choice of clothes and caption is making fans think she might be having a girl next.

The comments on her Instagram post are filled with such fan remarks, with many of them declaring and even praying for a little girl for the couple.

If confirmed, this would mark another exciting chapter in Rihanna’s life: balancing global stardom with motherhood while her past work continues to resonate with new audiences.
