Work, work, work, Ortega!.

As Jenna Ortega does the press rounds for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, she’s taking method dressing to strange and unusual levels.

The actress, who plays Winona Ryder’s character Lydia Deetz’s daughter Astrid in the 1988 movie’s much anticipated sequel, stepped out in New York City on Aug. 19 in a Thom Browne fit that channeled the OG film’s unforgettable final scene.

Ortega was clad in a sweater customized with an emblem resembling the one Ryder’s Deetz wore on her blazer in the movie, a plaid skirt that was a dead-ringer for Deetz’s, plus two tone Mary Janes and for rings, a Suzanne Kalan Golden Milli Stacker Diamond Eternity Band and a Rainbow K Ring Empress Sapphires.

She had one accessory of note, a Handbag for the Recently Deceased created by Ozias and not to be confused with the beloved yet spooky handbook featured in the movie.

In the scene, Lydia shares with her dead BFFS Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis) that she got an A in math but a C in chemistry because she refused to dissect a frog, before dancing to Harry Belafonte’s “Jump in the Line” in front of a deceased football team.

The star who also channeled the movie in a sculptural teal leather dress, recently shared on the Today show that as a kid, she was frightened of the Tim Burton film.
