Angelina Jolie Shows Her Heart of Gold: Tomb Raider Star Has Reportedly Opened Her Home To Friends Escaping LA Fires
Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is lending a helping hand to friends who have been displaced by the cruel LA fires, offering them shelter in her home.
The United States is in a deep state of turmoil given the devastating fires that have been raging on in the city of Los Angeles.
These wildfires have so far caused billions of worth of damage and left numerous homeless, without even basic necessities.
While more evacuations are to be expected in the coming days, several celebrities have joined in to help those in need.

As the death toll rises to 16 and more than 37,000 acres in the greater Los Angeles area have been destroyed and thousands evacuated, the situation is dire.
While the officials are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, the two largest fires, Palisades and Eaton have only been contained at 11% and 15% respectively (via NBC News).
So as many more people are to be affected, several celebrities are pitching in to help their family, friends, and other victims.
As PEOPLE reports, even Angelina Jolie has joined in and has reportedly opened her home to friends who had to vacate their homes under evacuation orders.
Joining the likes of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in supporting the community (via PEOPLE), a source close to the publication revealed that Jolie is heartbroken for all the victims and is doing everything she can.
Known for her charity and advocacy work, it isn’t surprising that the actress would do something like this.

The series of wildfires have affected one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Southern California, causing thousands to flee.
While more than 80,000 people have already been displaced and many more are expected to in the coming days, several of these are celebrities.
Jeff Bridges, Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, and Rosie O’Donnell are some of the celebrities who had their Malibu house razed to the ground.
Meanwhile, others like Sir Anthony Hopkins and his wife lost two houses in the devastating Pacific Palisades fires.
Adam Brody and his wife Leighton Meester and Daniella Pineda are some other celebs who have lost their homes (via BBC).
Many more celebrities have lost their homes in the fire and as evacuation orders are in action, others have had to leave their homes.
Now, forced to start from scratch, it is absolutely heartbreaking to see how ‘homes’ have been left as nothing but unrecognizable charred remains.
