Angelina Jolie Didn’t Have Enough Money to Buy a House, Wants $33,000 From Brad Pitt in Court

Angelina Jolie says that her finances haven’t been the best, which is why she had to take a step that angered her ex-husband Brad Pitt.

Despite both of them having been separated from each other for nine years now, the friction between Angelina Jolie and her ex-husband Brad Pitt has been there for just as long.

And now, as per a new lawsuit she filed (via Kjersti Flaa), it seems like Jolie isn’t able to get a new house in Los Angeles since their divorce.

The new lawsuit states that since Jolie asked for no alimony or other financial support, she had to sell her part of the vineyard they owned in France to support her and her children.

She’s also asking for $33,000 in compensation from Pitt, the details of which are given below.

It was a well-known fact that the Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, popularly known as Brangelina, were some business-savvy individuals.

But since their divorce, Jolie would go on to sell a part of the vineyard they owned in France, called Château Miraval.

In the filings presented in the court in the state of California, she revealed how she was emotionally distraught from setting foot on that property after all the things that happened there with her ex-husband.

And since she needed the finances for her family, she saw no other option but to sell her part of the estate (via E! News).

But, in response to her sale of the property, Pitt sued her for it.

As part of the lawsuit, Pitt requested to see private messages sent by Jolie with the buyers of her shares, The Stoli Group.

But due to the confidential nature of the business deal, she cannot do so.

Thus, in the countersuit, she’s asking $33,000 in compensation for the legal expenses that she incurred during all of this.

With the actress seeking $33,000 in compensation from her ex-husband, many may have become curious about her current financial state, which has led her to take this action.
