Sean “Diddy” Combs has entered the low-security New Jersey prison his legal team requested, where he is expected to serve the remainder of his 50-month sentence.

The rapper and fashion mogul, once at the pinnacle of the hip-hop world, now finds himself navigating the complexities of life behind bars.

Combs’ sensational eight-week federal trial this summer concluded with him being acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges but found guilty on two counts of transportation for prostitution, violating the Mann Act.

On October 3, he was sentenced to four years and two months in prison, ordered to pay a $500,000 fine, and will face five years of probation upon his release.

His high-flying lifestyle came crashing down 14 months ago when federal agents raided his homes, leading to a highly publicized arrest.

On Thursday, Combs entered the Fort Dix facility, where he is expected to remain until May 2028.

This prison is known for its Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), which Combs’ attorneys had requested he be allowed to participate in.

Ventura described this event occurring after the two had participated in a “freak off,” notorious drug-fueled sex marathons that Combs attended with male prostitutes.

She claimed that she was sometimes coerced into attending these events, a claim Combs denied and was not found guilty of during the trial.

“I would say he was an addict,” Ventura stated while being questioned about Combs’ substance issues.

Upon his arrest at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan in September 2024, investigators discovered lubricant, $9,000 in cash, a bottle of clonazepam, and two small bags containing a pink powder that tested positive for MDMA and ketamine.

This powder is commonly associated with “tusi” or “pink cocaine,” a substance that often contains various drugs, including cocaine and methamphetamine.

In a May 2024 apology video, Combs had referenced going to rehab amid the firestorm following the release of leaked footage showing him confronting Ventura in an elevator vestibule.

Throughout the trial, his defense attorneys highlighted his newfound sobriety while in federal custody, arguing that he had turned a page in his life and intended to remain drug-free moving forward.

Combs’ listed release date of May 2028 reflects his full sentence, although he has the opportunity to reduce his time by 15 percent each year for good behavior.
