The Queen of Pop, Madonna, just turned 66 – and is ushering in this new chapter of her life with style.

They showed off some loved-up pics on Instagram during the Fourth of July weekend this year, and he joined her in Italy as she celebrated her 66th birthday this month

On August 16, the star visited the historic site of Pompeii in Italy with friends and family, including her twin daughters, Estere and Stella, and her rumoured new boyfriend Akeem Morris, with whom she spent time in Portofino ahead of her birthday, according to the Italian press.

Her special day was celebrated with performances from the children of Dream of Flying at Pompeii’s ancient theatre, per People. Dream of Flying, or Sogno di Volare, is a youth art initiative of which Madonna is a patron through her Ray of Light Foundation.

The “Like a Virgin” crooner also posted a photo dump on her Instagram, wishing herself a happy birthday as she posed solo, with her twins, and finally, with her new beau – who even appears shirtless in a few snaps.

Akeem Morris was born on May 2, 1996, in Jamaica, per People, but grew up in Elmont, New York. He still lives in New York, but remains connected to his Jamaican roots – he posted photos from a trip home to Instagram in 2022. He attended Elmont Memorial High School and went on to graduate from Stony Brook University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and government, per the university’s website.

He was also a student athlete while at Stony Brook, per his LinkedIn, playing forward on the university’s football team. After graduating, he had a brief stint as a forward for Oyster Bay United FC, a New York-based team under the United Premier Soccer League. He is currently a football coach.
