A$AP Rocky Steps Out at Met Gala 2025 Moments After Rihanna Pregnancy Reveal

A$AP Rocky, who serves as a co-chair for this year’s 2025 Met Gala, turned heads with his stylish ensemble for the New York City event. Moments before, Rihanna revealed her pregnancy with baby No. 3.

As expected, A$AP Rocky’s Met Gala look turned out to be more than just fine.

In fact, the “Goldie” rapper, who serves as a co-chair this year—along with Pharell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo as well as honorary co-chair LeBron James and Vogue editor Anna Wintour—went above and beyond with his attire for the event, sporting an all-black Awge suit, complete with an oversized coat. He complemented the look with multiple diamond jewelry pieces, including a broche, rings and a Briony Raymond umbrella with a handle in the shape of a pistol.

But Rocky isn’t the only one shining bright for the evening, as his partner Rihanna, with whom he shares kids RZA, 2, and Riot, 21 months, made jaws drop as she revealed she is expecting baby No. 3 while leaving The Carlyle Hotel to head to the event. For A$AP, this year’s “Tailored for You,” dress code, which goes along with the theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” is one he told Vogue was simply, but aptly put, “important.”

“I’m looking forward to seeing everybody,” he told the publication in April, “celebrate Black excellence.”

But more than his admiration for this year’s historic significance of Black dandyism, A$AP being at the helm of the annual event is fitting as he also once crowned himself “the godfather of what we now call art and fashion.”

“The plight that comes with being a trendsetter is sometimes you see the things you love,” he told GQ in 2024 amid the debut of his own show during Paris Fashion Week, “the precious brands, the precious designers, sometimes you see them overdone and you see them done by the masses. So, then you gotta switch it up.”
