The now-viral footage is not sitting well with the singer

If Jennifer Lopez thought finalising divorce papers would be the end of Bennifer drama, then this week would be a rude awakening, as fresh headlines swirl around ex-husband Ben Affleck and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

The singer is reportedly “not happy” and struggling to ignore the optics regarding the attention the actor is getting around his relationship with Garner, according to a source. As reported by Page Six, insiders have shed some light on how Lopez is reacting to recently published photos showing Affleck and Garner getting close during candid moments.

Affleck and Garner, who share three children—Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12—have been hailed as one of Hollywood’s most amicable co-parents since splitting up in 2015 after a decade together.

But their recent interactions, including a family paintball outing where the former couple were seen laughing and embracing, have sparked speculation about the nature of their bond. Over the last few days, netizens have been divided over their interpretations of the footage (see here).

According to one insider, these images have been “like salt in the wound” for Lopez, who is allegedly “furious” over the situation.

Yet, another source told the tabloid that Lopez is currently too immersed in her latest project—a Netflix rom-com titled Office Romance—to dwell on the drama.

“She has been fully concentrating on her life, her growth, and her happiness,” they insisted. Meanwhile, those close to Affleck noted to People magazine that while he has always shared a rapport with Garner, he has been “extra giddy lately” and “much more affectionate.”

Affleck and Lopez split up in April 2024 after two years of marriage, while Garner has been in a relationship with businessman John Miller since 2018.

As for Lopez, little has been shared about her dating life since the split, but perhaps this marks a poignant end to a love story we’ve lapped up from its beginning in 2001 to its rekindling in 2020 to its heartbreaking end in 2024.
