Along with Irons, Marion Cotillard, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper and Boyd Holbrook join the newsroom fray in season 4
Jeremy Irons and Jennifer Aniston in ‘The Morning Show’ Season
Season 4 of The Morning Show will premiere on September 17, Apple TV+ announced on Wednesday, May 28, as they shared the first look photos at the highly anticipated new season, which comes nearly two years after the season 3 finale aired in November 2023.
Per the streamer, season 4 “opens in spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season 3,” and leaves Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and their colleagues to “grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives, and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America” after the UBA-NBN merger.
“In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate cover-ups — who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real?” reads the official season 4 synopsis.

Jon Hamm, who joined in season 3 as Paul Marks, is also set to return.
There is also a slate of newcomers joining the newsroom chaos, with Jeremy Irons set to play Aniston’s character’s dad and Marion Cotillard, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper and Boyd Holbrook also joining.
Cotillard will play Celine Dumon, a “savvy operator from a storied European family”; Pierre will play acclaimed visual artist Miles; Harper will join the network as Ben, the head of sports; and Holbrook will play podcaster Brodie.

In another shot, Pierre looks longingly out of a window from what looks like a crowded artistic space.

Pittman later echoed her costars’ analysis of the season, as she called it “super juicy.”
“Knowing what I know about what season four is, it’s gonna be very interesting to see what people feel about it, knowing the political, sociopolitical climate,” she said on SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show earlier this month.
“They step on everybody on their way up and so much of that comes to bear in season 4,” she added, referring to Aniston’s character stopping the sale of UBA to Hamm’s company Hyperion in the season 3 finale. “I mean, there’s so many things.”
Season 4 of The Morning Show premieres Wednesday, Sept. 17 on Apple TV+, followed by new episodes weekly.
