Justin Theroux has quietly remarried eight years after his divorce from Jennifer Aniston, leaving the Friends actress ‘blindsided’.

Over the weekend, the Beetlejuice 2 star, 53, secretly wed actress Nicole Brydon Bloom, 30, in a private beach ceremony in Tulum, Mexico.

Theroux wore a traditional tuxedo, while Bloom looked every bit the classic bride in a long white gown.

The pair, who have a 23-year age gap, first sparked romance rumours in February 2023.

In March 2024, they made their red carpet debut at Vanity Fair’s annual Oscars party—officially confirming the relationship—and got engaged five months later in Italy.

The ceremony was scaled back and intimate, but MailOnline reports that Theroux’s beloved pit bull mix Kuma, whom he adopted from a high-kill shelter following Hurricane Harvey, was a part of the big day.

After news of their nuptials became public, an insider revealed what Aniston’s reaction was to the occasion, telling the publication: ‘Yes, it took her by surprise, but they have maintained a close friendship, and she is happy for him that he has found true love.’

While Aniston approves of her ex’s new lover, it’s believed to feel bittersweet for her to see him fully moved on.

‘She cannot help but be somewhat reminiscent of what they had together, but she knows what a good man he is, and she thinks that his new wife is wonderful,’ they added.

‘This gives Jennifer hope that her Prince Charming is out there.’

A second source stressed that she is not dwelling on the news, saying: ‘Nobody should feel bad for Jen; she’s fine.

‘She’s loved and lost like the rest of us, but her life is still pretty good.’

They said ‘if she ends up with anyone down the line, that would be beautiful.’

Elsewhere, the source claimed Aniston is now ‘on a different path’, just like her former partners are, including her first husband, Brad Pitt, to whom she was married from 2000 to 2005.

She and Pitt have also remained friendly, with a mole insisting the actress only feels ‘joy’ for the successes of her exes.

‘If anything is on her mind about Justin, it would be, let Justin be happy.’

While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show last year, Theroux revealed how he met his new wife: ‘A friend of ours was having sort of a party at their restaurant, bar,’ Theroux explained.

‘The first impression was wow,’ he continued. ‘And then a friend of mine who was with me, literally the quote, [they] said, “That’s the one.” Like, we hadn’t even met yet. And I was like, “She’s so stunning.” So I went over and started talking and things like that and it progressed.’

Bloom is a New York-based actress, with a degree in acting from Elon University as of 2017, who is perhaps best known for playing Caroline Stuyvesant in season two of The Gilded Age.

Bloom also currently stars in the hit show Paradise opposite Sterling K. Brown.

This is Bloom’s first time at the altar, but Theroux was previously wed to Aniston from 2015 to 2017 in a marriage that was constantly in and out of international headlines.

A joint statement at the time announcing their separation read: ‘We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.’

‘There’s something to, once you’re out of that, where I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we’re in,’ the actor told Esquire in May 2023 of being in such a high-profile marriage.

‘Having been in a public relationship, it’s much more fun not being in a public relationship,’ he concluded.

Theroux and Aniston finalised their divorce in what he previously described as a ‘gentle separation’ in February 2018.

Ever since they have made it clear that they remain close pals and on amicable terms.
