Unsatisfied with the current politics, celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Sophie Turner, and Minnie Driver have already swapped their U.S. homes for residences abroad.
Most recently, musician Bruce Springsteen and actor Robert De Niro allegedly voiced their concerns about the political climate in the country yet again, and spoke of their plans of moving to Canada.

While Canada has always been a popular destination with Americans who seek some sort of change, the public’s opinion regarding the decisions of Springsteen and De Niro is divided.

Whether the two legendary stars move places is yet to be witnessed as certain media outlets regarded the news of their decisions to move as fake.

Most recently, while promoting Zero Day, his newest Netflix project in which he stars as ex-president George Mullen, De Niro was asked by host Stephen Colbert about his heroes.

While the Oscar-winning actor named late actor Marlon Brando and South African leader Nelson Mandela, he was asked about his American heroes. He said it was the police officers who defended the U.S. Capitol from the mob of violent Trump supporters on Jan. 6, 2021.
“I think of the Capitol Police, the guys at Capitol Police. The Metropolitan Police,” De Niro said, as per the HuffPost. “Michael Fanone, Aquilino Gonell, Harry Dunn, Daniel Hodges and everybody else who was involved and affected and hurt by that.”
