Penny Noble, a revered figure in the Canadian entertainment industry and the founder of Noble Caplan Abrams (NCA), has passed away at the age of 58.

She died peacefully at her Toronto home on June 23, 2025, following a courageous five-month battle with brain cancer.

Noble began her career in the entertainment industry at a young age, founding Noble Talent Management in her early twenties.

The agency eventually evolved into Noble Caplan Abrams, becoming a prominent talent agency in Canada.

Her dedication to her clients and her passion for the industry left an indelible mark on the Canadian entertainment landscape.

Beyond her work as a talent agent, Noble was also a film producer, with her most recent project being the feature film Stealing the Sky.

Her contributions to film, television, and theatre were significant, and she mentored numerous artists throughout her career.

Noble was also a devoted mother to her two daughters, Gigi and Gemma, whom she adopted from China and raised as a single parent.

Her love for her daughters was boundless, and she instilled in them the values of independence and bravery.

Both Gigi and Gemma have grown into intelligent and ambitious young women, reflecting the strength and grace that Noble embodied.

In addition to her family, Noble is survived by her brother Craig, his wife Helen, her nephews Justin, Cameron, and Spencer, her cousins Gordene and Marylou, and her lifelong friends who stood by her through every chapter of her life.

The family extends special thanks to Ruby for her care and tenderness in Noble’s final months.

Throughout her life, Noble was a passionate advocate for human rights and equal access to fundamental needs.

She regularly donated to organizations such as World Vision, Planned Parenthood, the Brady Center, and numerous local theatre companies.
