FC Barcelona’s manager, Hansi Flick, has strongly defended the use of the video assistant referee (VAR) system after his team’s controversial 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Monday.

However, I’m not a fan of looking at the table. We are still in February, and there’s a long way to go,” said the German coach. “But I’m happy for the players. Their mentality is to fight until the end, and we will take it one game at a time.”
