Casandra “Cassie” Ventura began testifying against her ex Sean “Diddy” Combs in his sex trafficking trial on May 13, 2025, in New York City.

Her testimony revealed intimate and disturbing details about their decade-long relationship and Combs’ alleged “Freak Off” sex parties.

On July 2, 2025, the jury acquitted Combs of sex trafficking and racketeering charges but convicted him on two lesser prostitution-related counts, including one involving Ventura.

1. Ventura detailed Diddy’s alleged “Freak Off” sex parties

During her first day on the stand, Cassie spoke extensively about Combs’ so-called “Freak Offs” — multi-day, drug-fueled sex parties where women were forced to have sexual encounters with male escorts under Combs’ direction.

Ventura recalled her first experience at age 22, describing feelings of confusion and nervousness, but also love that clouded her judgment. She explained that these parties sometimes lasted four days or more with breaks, during which she was drugged to dissociate from the acts.

She listed substances such as cocaine, ketamine, GHB, MDMA, ecstasy, and mushrooms as part of the “Freak Offs.” Ventura claimed that after parties ended, she often had to clean hotel rooms stained with blood and urine.

2. She alleged that Combs or escorts urinated on her during the parties

Ventura testified that either Combs, male escorts, or both, would urinate on her during the “Freak Offs.”

She said she did not consent and found it humiliating, sometimes choking from the urine in her mouth. She emphasized she was “high and in the moment,” with little control, and that this was a “turn-on” for Combs but something she never wanted.

3. Ventura described feeling controlled for most of her relationship with Combs

Cassie said their on-again, off-again relationship, which lasted until 2018, was marked by intense control. Combs controlled her appearance, who she could contact, and even punished her by taking away her phone or computer.

She admitted to being naive and a people-pleaser at the start. Combs enforced strict rules about how she dressed and exercised, demanding she be “really sexy” on some days and “his woman” on others.

4. She got emotional recalling how Combs “taught” her about oral sex

Ventura spoke about one of their first sexual encounters at the Trump International Hotel in Manhattan after her 21st birthday.

She said Combs introduced her to oral sex, but she did not reciprocate at first and felt confused and inexperienced. She recalled feeling “special” but also trapped between wanting to leave and feeling emotionally bound to him.

5. She was not sober the first time she had sex with Combs

Ventura testified that during their first sexual encounter in Miami, Combs gave her ecstasy (a blue dolphin pill).

She described feeling euphoric, very high, and sensitive to touch. At the time, Combs was still involved with Kim Porter and was careful about appearances.

6. Combs recorded sexual encounters as blackmail material

Ventura revealed that Combs secretly filmed her and others during “Freak Offs” and used the footage as blackmail to control her.

She feared he would release the videos to damage her reputation or career, especially if she dated others. Combs would threaten to leak the tapes when upset, using it as a psychological weapon.

7. She was forced to get into a pool filled with baby oil during a “Freak Off”

During one party, Ventura said Combs asked her to get into an inflatable pool full of baby oil, which she did reluctantly, fully clothed, fearing the consequences of refusal.

Authorities later found 1,000 bottles of baby oil in Combs’ homes, which his lawyers downplayed during the trial.

8. She addressed the infamous 2016 assault footage

On the second day of testimony, Ventura described the 2016 hotel hallway assault in Los Angeles, captured on security cameras. The video showed Combs chasing, grabbing, and violently kicking her while she lay on the ground pleading.

Ventura said she didn’t fight back during the attack because resistance only made Combs more violent. The assault left her with a black eye, bruises, and cuts, marking one of the most harrowing moments in her testimony.
