when does footage of a couple having a

night out together heat up rumors that

they’re headed for Splitzville when

their Barack Michelle Obama apparently a

dinner at the hip Washington DC Italian

restaurant Osteria Matzah snagged some

video of the former POTUS and Flootus

walking down the stairs on their way out

of the ery some of the patrons applauded

the Obamas as they made their way to the

door and they both acknowledged their

response with some waves the couple then

shook the hands of some of the

restaurant staff and left while the

Obamas got a warm welcome inside the

tiny pasta spot once the video hit

Instagram and Tik Tok and eventually the

New York Post the theorizing quickly got

underway some immediately assumed it was

a publicity stunt one wrote on X

“Putting on a show for whoever cares.”

Another wrote “Sounds like a photo op to

me.” Others pointed out that the former

first couple didn’t seem overly warm

with each other one commented on TikTok

“I thought Barack was her bodyguard at

first lol.” The clip of the couple’s

night out started circulating on April

22nd not long after photos of their

daughters Sasha and Malia Obama spending

the Easter holiday all the way across

the country in Los Angeles without their

parents were published so it was more

fuel for the fire of anyone who wanted

to see family turmoil at play barack has

even admitted to there being some

tension at times i was in a a deep

deficit with my wife so I have been

trying to dig myself out of that hole

speculation about the state of Barack

and Michelle’s marriage has persisted

for months the rumors really fired up

when Barack made a few public

appearances without Michelle like when

he attended former President Jimmy

Carter’s funeral and President Donald

Trump’s inauguration as a party of one

it seems like everything the couple

tries to do to head off the divorce

rumors just make things worse back in

January on Michelle’s birthday Barack

posted an Instagram photo of the two at

a dinner holding hands across the table

but Michelle’s expression and the

awkwardness of how they were positioned

drew accusations that the photo was

poorly staged then on Valentine’s Day

the couple uploaded matching Instagram

and ex posts declaring their love for

one another they both posted the same

cute selfie where they pose for the

camera with their heads touching and

they included gushing captions michelle

Obama some online observers thought the

selfie posts were a contrived way of

hiding their marital wos one outright

accused their relationship of being fake

while another wrote on X “You’re lying

so badly lol he is cheating on you.”

Haha that cheating allegation is most

likely a reference to the persistent

rumor that Barack was having some kind

of fling with actress Jennifer Aniston

it became so widespread that Aniston had

to debunk it on Jimmy Kimmel Live i’ve

met him once met him once i know

michelle Moore divorce chatter went

further into overdrive when Barack

attended a Los Angeles Clippers game

solo on March 5th detractors used the

solo outing as proof that their marriage

was on the outs while others pointed out

that Michelle had rarely ever attended

basketball games with her husband

michelle finally tried to quash the

divorce talk when she appeared on the

work in progress podcast with host

Sophia Bush on April 8th they couldn’t

even fathom that I was making a choice

for myself that they had to assume that

my husband and I are divorcing with

their girls grown up and out of the nest

Michelle explained that she was making

more of an effort to do her own thing

her choices not to go to some events
