New details are emerging about Sophia
Hutchkins’s fatal crash. The Los Angeles
County Sheriff’s Department told the
Daily Mail on July 5th that authorities
are investigating speeding as a possible
factor that led to the crash that took
the life of Caitlyn Jenner’s friend and
manager. Police explained to the outlet
that the 29-year-old was allegedly going
over the speed limit on an ATV when she
rear ended a vehicle on a steep road in
Malibu. She lost control of her ATV and
veered off a 350 foot cliff. First
responders reportedly rushed to deliver
aid, but Hutchkins was sadly pronounced
dead at the scene on July 2nd. Per the
outlet, the passengers inside the other
vehicle were uninjured. Authorities also
told the Daily Mail that they will not
know whether drugs or alcohol were
involved until an official toxicology
report is released from the coroner’s
office. ENews has reached out to the Los
Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for
comment, but has not yet heard back.
