'Sad' debate sparked as Machine Gun Kelly reveals Megan Fox was furious after he was called a 'good dad'

After Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly yesterday announced the birth of a beautiful baby girl together, fans of the former couple have been wondering where their relationship stands now.

When the pair announced the news they were expecting a child last November, some fans were left scratching their heads after the couple previously revealing they’d called time on their engagement.

It came after weeks of the rumour mill churning about the status of their relationship, as fans questioned what had gone down.

2020
March – Hired as co-stars
Following a chance meeting in the years prior while Fox, 38, was married to ex-husband Brian Austin, she and MGK (real name Colson Baker) came face-to-face properly on the set of 2021 serial killer flick Midnight in the Switchgrass.

The actress later claimed that she immediately felt a connection to the rockstar rapper.

“It was obvious from second one what it was going to be,” she told GQ Style in 2021.

“I did not anticipate walking right into my soulmate like that.

“I was obviously over the way I had been living, and those paths lined up, those doors opened.

It was [as if] all the obstacles that had kept us apart all those years [had been removed] and we were able to finally intersect.

May – Secret meet-ups
In the months that followed, the pair were seen enjoying some one-on-one time together.

“They seem to have fun and look happy together,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.

Giving their first joint interview to promote their thriller movie, Fox alluded to the fact they were now an official couple.

“I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame,” she told listeners of the Give Them Lala podcast.

“Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time.

“So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think.

And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.

The couple went Insta-official.

Sharing a selfie of the two side-by-side in coordinating black fits, 34-year-old MGK penned the caption: “Waited for eternity to find you again.

“.

Fox shared a similar snap with the caption: “Achingly Beautiful Boy – My heart is yours.

September – The ‘L’ bomb
During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the musician claimed his new beau changed his outlook on romance, claiming he ‘didn’t know’ what ‘love was’ until they met.

“After I made the big chunk of the album, I did fall in love for the first time,” he continued.

“That was my first experience with being open to love and stuff like that.

”

“I definitely wasn’t set up to believe that that’s something that could ever exist.

”

The same month, the pair were also seen locking lips after Fox appeared in the music video for his track ‘Drunk Face’.

November – Red carpet debut
The couple appeared side-by-side at the American Music Awards, where Fox rocked an emerald green Azzi & Osta one-sleeve top and matching mini skirt.

May – First anniversary
“She said ‘i love you’ one year ago today,” MGK tweeted on 26 May.

The same month, the Jennifer’s Body actress also made an appearance on stage during her musician boyfriend’s Indy 500 weekend.

July – Poster girl
Speaking to GQ, the rock star re-iterated that Fox has long been the woman of his dreams, claiming he even had her 2008 ‘Sexiest Woman in the World’ photoshoot posters on his walls as a teen.

September – Double dates
Fox was joined in the girls bathroom of that year’s VMAs by Kourtney Kardashian, with the gal pair being photographed locking lips with their partners, MGK and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, behind the scenes.

January – MGK pops the question
Fox shared a video on Instagram of the rap star getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him.

In a gushy caption she wrote at the time, the Transformers star penned: “We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.

“Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love.

And the karma.

“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.
