📖 The Banned Book That Reveals How the World Will End – And Why the CIA Hid It for 50 Years 🌍💀
In 1963, a relatively obscure book titled The Adam and Eve Story: The History of Cataclysms quietly made its way into circulation.
Its author, Chan Thomas—a former employee of the U.S.
Air Force—claimed to have unlocked the hidden truth behind Earth’s most devastating secrets: mass extinctions, lost civilizations, and global resets caused by planetary forces we can barely comprehend.
But what made the book legendary wasn’t its theories—it was what happened next.
The CIA swooped in and classified the entire manuscript, removing it from public hands and denying it ever existed.
For 50 years, it remained buried in government vaults.
Until 2013, when the CIA declassified just 57 heavily redacted pages, calling them “sanitized.”
That release only amplified the public’s curiosity.
Why suppress a book unless it contained dangerous truths? What exactly was Chan Thomas trying to tell us? According to him, the end of the world isn’t a question of if—but when.
And it all revolves around a phenomenon most people have never even considered: magnetic pole reversal.
Unlike common doomsday theories, Thomas didn’t claim comets or nuclear war would end us.
He believed Earth’s magnetic poles reverse roughly every 3,000 to 12,000 years, triggering cataclysmic events each time.
In his timeline, the fall of legendary civilizations like Atlantis, Lemuria, and Mu were not myths, but casualties of these natural planetary resets.
He traced global annihilations back to three major events: the Biblical tale of Adam and Eve, the flood of Noah’s Ark, and a third, future apocalypse—which, according to his calculations, could happen anytime
within a 500-year window that began in the 1990s.
That’s right: we’re already living inside the countdown.
So what is magnetic pole reversal, and why is it such a big deal? The Earth’s core generates a magnetic field that protects us from solar radiation and keeps our climate stable.
Over time, this magnetic field weakens, fluctuates, and—on rare occasions—flips completely, making the North Pole become the South Pole and vice versa.
While this sounds like a minor glitch in the planet’s software, Thomas—and later, others like Charles Hapgood and David Montaigne—believed the consequences are anything but minor.
Chan Thomas argued that during these reversals, the Earth’s crust essentially slips over the mantle, causing instantaneous global disasters: earthquakes, tsunamis, superstorms, and even continental shifts.
Cities swallowed by oceans.
Whole landmasses vaporized.
Civilization sent back to the Stone Age in hours.
He pointed to ancient ruins and unexplained extinctions as evidence.
He even claimed there was a pattern in Earth’s history—pole reversals every 3,000 to 6,000 years that conveniently line up with mysterious collapses in human history.
To bolster his theory, he cited research from the Smithsonian’s Shanidar Cave expeditions, which revealed devastating climate shifts and mass extinction events thousands of years apart—exactly when he
predicted previous reversals occurred.
The Arctic Ocean has reportedly been Earth’s North Pole for only 7,000 years.
Before that, it was Hudson Bay.
Before that, the Sudan Basin.
According to Thomas, every pole relocation resulted in a civilizational wipeout.
And here’s where it gets even more unsettling: NASA admits Earth’s magnetic field is already weakening.
The “South Atlantic Anomaly”—a strange area of magnetic instability—has been growing.
Some satellites even fail when they pass through it.
Scientists also acknowledge that pole reversals have happened 183 times in the last 83 million years.
They’re real.
They’re proven.
But when will the next one happen? That’s what no one can agree on—and it’s what makes Thomas’s prophecy so chilling.
His predictions weren’t based solely on folklore.
He wove together hard geological evidence, ancient texts, and cross-cultural flood myths that all echoed the same tale: a global reset.
Floods, darkness, and death.
He believed these events were recorded by survivors of past resets—legacies left behind in structures like the pyramids, Stonehenge, and ancient Sumerian tablets.
He even claimed that advanced civilizations once existed long before modern recorded history, but were erased so cleanly by cataclysm that we barely remember their names.
Sound far-fetched? Perhaps.
But think of what little we actually know about human history beyond 5,000 years ago.
Chan Thomas wasn’t alone in this.
Scholars like Charles Hapgood and mineralogist Doomu supported the theory of rapid pole shifts.
Hapgood’s work on ancient maps of Antarctica showed the continent ice-free, suggesting advanced knowledge from a civilization that lived before the last Ice Age.
Swiss geologists, German paleontologists, and even scholars of ancient religions all pointed to one common threat—sudden, unexplained environmental collapse.
So why did the CIA care so much about this book?
That’s the question that won’t die.
Why censor a book full of “pseudoscience” unless there’s something inside they didn’t want us to see? Why change the references Thomas provided? Why alter or omit entire chapters? Some conspiracy theorists
believe the missing 227 pages may contain information far beyond pole shifts—things like the origin of humanity, proof of extraterrestrial involvement, or even cures for deadly diseases.
Others believe it outlines a precise timeline for the next cataclysm that governments are deliberately hiding to prevent mass panic.
And while mainstream scientists today say magnetic reversals are not inherently apocalyptic, they do admit there are potential risks: electrical grid failure, satellite malfunction, increased radiation, navigational
chaos.
These alone could cripple modern society.
And if you throw in natural disasters triggered by crustal shifts? You get a cocktail of chaos.
But what about the lost continent of Mu that Thomas mentioned—does it actually exist? Unfortunately, modern oceanography and plate tectonics refute its existence.
Studies in the mid-20th century, including research on Easter Island by French explorer Alfred Métraux, found no credible evidence of a sunken Pacific super-continent.
Experts now believe that James Churchward—the man who popularized Mu—relied on fabricated records and pseudoscientific speculation.
Still, one can’t deny how eerily consistent global flood myths are.
From Mesopotamia to Mesoamerica, nearly every ancient civilization shares a tale of a sudden, planet-wide flood—one that wiped out nearly everything and forced humanity to begin again.
Whether these are symbolic stories or fragmented memories of real global disasters, the resonance is impossible to ignore.
Even the Bible’s Book of Revelation hints at a cataclysmic future.
Revelation 6:12–17 describes a massive earthquake, the sun turning black, the moon like blood—imagery that mirrors Thomas’s vision of the end.
Coincidence or prophecy? You decide.
Chan Thomas warned that the next global disaster could strike between 1990 and 2490.
We are already decades into that window.
And while many experts assure us we’re not in imminent danger, the planet’s magnetic behavior is undeniably shifting.
The facts, the patterns, the growing anomalies—they all suggest that something big could be on the horizon.
So maybe the end won’t come from war, plague, or alien invasion.
Maybe it’s been silently building beneath our feet all along—waiting for the poles to flip.
The real question is: will we be ready, or will we become just another forgotten chapter in a lost book the next civilization rediscovers thousands of years from now?
