🚨 Lil’ Cease EXPOSES THE LIES—Says He NEVER Snitched on Lil’ Kim & Blames the MEDIA! 🗞️💥
In a world where betrayal and loyalty are everything, being labeled a “snitch” in the hip-hop community is a death sentence.
For years, Lil’ Cease has carried that weight on his back—the perception that he turned on Lil’ Kim during her 2005 perjury trial and sent the Queen Bee to prison.
But according to Cease himself, that narrative is flat-out false.
In a revealing interview, Cease opens up about his relationship with Kim, the trial, and the twisted media game that he claims turned him into the villain.
Let’s rewind.
The case stemmed from a 2001 shooting outside Hot 97’s New York offices involving members of Junior M.A.F.I.A. and their entourage.
When the feds came knocking, they wanted answers—and they wanted Lil’ Kim.
She claimed under oath that she wasn’t at the scene and didn’t know her crew had weapons.
The problem? Surveillance footage said otherwise.
The prosecutors argued she lied, and she was charged with perjury and conspiracy.
The media quickly zeroed in on Lil’ Cease, who testified during the trial, and headlines branded him the ultimate backstabber.
But Cease says that’s a lie built by public perception—not fact.
“My name is James Lloyd.
You can go to One Federal Plaza and pull the paperwork,” Cease declares.
“It’s public record.
I never said anything to send Kim to jail.
” He insists that his testimony didn’t include any details that directly incriminated Kim in a way that would’ve led to her conviction.
According to him, the damage was already done—by Kim herself.
“The stuff she lied about had nothing to do with anything I said.
The evidence was already there.
That’s what got her.”
So why does the world still think he snitched?
According to Cease, it’s the optics.
“Just the fact that I was on the stand made it look funny,” he admits.
“The media painted that picture, and once people saw my face in court, they didn’t care what I said—they made up their minds.”
The rap community was quick to judge, and fans turned their backs on him, calling him a traitor, a rat, and everything in between.
But Cease insists his loyalty was never in question.“
Kim ain’t pull out no gun.
Kim ain’t do no shooting.
Why would I snitch? There was nothing to snitch about.”
In fact, Cease says he and Kim had a deep bond long before the fame and the fallout.
They came from the same block.
Kim was friends with Cease’s sister and even lived with his family at times during her rough teenage years.
“Before she ever rapped for Big, she was living at my crib.
My sister told me she rapped, and I brought her to Big,” Cease recalls.
“Big saw something in her, molded her, and made her part of the Mafia.
That’s real history right there.”
Even during the trial, Cease says he held back.
“I didn’t want to say anything.
I didn’t want to testify.
But they subpoenaed me.
I had no choice,” he explains.
And while he acknowledges that Kim might’ve felt betrayed, he believes the system cornered both of them.
“She was in a tough spot.
But it wasn’t me or anybody else that put her there—it was the situation.
And once you lie under oath, they coming for you.”
Despite the years of silence between them, Cease says the love hasn’t faded.
“If I could say anything to her right now, I’d tell her, ‘I love you.
Always have.
Always will.
Let’s sit down.
Let’s talk.
’” It’s been nearly a decade since they last spoke, but Cease believes the time has come for healing.
“We from the same place.
We share the same history.
That bond don’t disappear.”
He compares their situation to other public celebrity reconciliations, like Rihanna and Chris Brown, emphasizing that misunderstandings shouldn’t define legacies.
“We didn’t shed no blood.
We didn’t fight.
We just had a miscommunication.
That’s it.
I think Big might be up there putting a cloud over us like, ‘Y’all better get it together.’”
But what about the internet trolls? The ones who constantly label him a snake? Cease brushes them off.
“You don’t live for them.
You live for yourself,” he says bluntly.
“Go get the paperwork.
See it for yourself.
Stop listening to hearsay.
I already lived through the backlash.
Now I’m living for the truth.”
It’s hard to say whether Lil’ Kim will ever publicly respond to Cease’s side.
But one thing’s for sure—there’s more to this story than the headlines ever told.
Behind the beef, there’s a shared past, a legacy, and possibly still, a future.
Whether or not that includes reconciliation is up to time—and two people finally ready to let go of the weight of the past.
So, did Lil’ Cease really snitch on Lil’ Kim? According to him: absolutely not.
He was just another name on the witness list, caught up in a legal web and branded a traitor for something he says he never did.
Now, nearly 20 years later, he wants the world to know the truth—and maybe, just maybe, he wants Lil’ Kim to hear it too.
