Jennifer Lawrence Unravels with Robert Pattinson in Wild First Trailer for Die My Love

Jennifer Lawrence is on the hunt for connection in Die My Love.

The first teaser trailer for the Lynne Ramsay-directed movie, which dropped on Friday, Sept. 5, offers glimpses of what critics at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival called an award-worthy performance from Lawrence, 34.

The comedy-drama earned a nine-minute standing ovation and acclaim after its premiere at the fest.

Along with producing via her company Excellent Cadaver, Lawrence stars as a wife and mother named Grace.

Joining the Oscar winner onscreen is an all-star cast: Robert Pattinson as her husband Jackson, plus LaKeith Stanfield, Sissy Spacek and Nick Nolte.

Die My Love tracks Grace’s psychological state as she moves with Jackson from New York City to rural Montana.

The film was co-adapted by Ramsay, Alice Birch and Enda Walsh from the 2017 novel by Ariana Harwicz.

Set to a version of Shirley Ellis’ hit tune “The Clapping Song,” the teaser shows Lawrence dancing, fighting and snarling in various states of passion.

The film marks Lawrence’s first since her 2023 comedy No Hard Feelings, which she also produced.

At the 2023 Sarajevo Film Festival, Ramsay, 55, said that the mother of two “really responded to the material, which is hardcore in some ways, because it’s about postnatal depression and bipolar [disorder],” per IndieWire. “But it’s funny as well.

A Palme d’Or competitor at Cannes, Die My Love was acquired by Mubi.

It will be in theaters Nov. 7. Lawrence reportedly also has The Wives, a murder mystery inspired by the Real Housewives reality franchise, in the works.
