The $1 Million TV Club: Sylvester Stallone Earning as Much as Yellowstone Legend Kevin Costner Shows How Well He Has Transitioned From Movies
Despite both working for Taylor Sheridan and Yellowstone being the better-known series, Sylvester Stallone is earning more than Kevin Costner.
Sylvester Stallone’s career is the perfect example of how to transition in Hollywood. The actor started off his career in action films, being at the forefront of films like Rocky, and Rambo, and then transitioned to films like The Expendables.
However, he has recently taken another jump in his career, going from decades of film to television.

Most stars who try to make such a transition after being so successful decades ago cannot seem to make it work and eventually burn out.
However, if figures are to be believed, the actor has become one of the rare people in the television industry to be making the very big bucks.
So much so, that he is earning as much as Yellowstone icon Kevin Costner.
Sylvester Stallone’s transition from movies to shows has been very smooth
Sylvester Stallone stands right at the center of Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King.
Like most of Sheridan’s works, the series is highly critically acclaimed, adored by critics, and loved by fans from everywhere.
However, its writing isn’t the only thing that can be credited to its success.

Fans especially commended Stallone’s acting in the show, pointing out that the actor does an excellent job playing Dwight Manfredi.
This isn’t the first television series the actor has been a part of, but it is the first to gain him almost as much attention and recognition as the rest of his iconic works.
The series recently concluded its second season, and more is to come from the story that Stallone and Sheridan are making together.
With the amount of success that the series has seen, as well as its cast, one cannot help but wonder how much Stallone earned for his role as Manfredi.
The answer is quite surprising.
Sylvester Stallone is now in the big leagues of television
When a star is moving from films to television, it is very likely that they will have to prove their worth as an actor again.
However, considering the amount of success and acclaim that Sylvester Stallone already had to his name, he did not have to try very hard to be taken seriously.

Considering the actor was working with Taylor Sheridan, one of the most respected names in television, his check was going to be even bigger.
According to Deadline, the star was paid a surprising $750,000 per episode of Tulsa King in season one.
This figure became even bigger in the second season, reaching seven figures with a whopping $1.5 million per episode.
Even by television standards, this figure is very big, with very few actors hitting such high salaries.
However, it would seem that this is nothing new for Sheridan.
His other beloved show, Yellowstone, stars Oscar-winner Kevin Costner at the very center.
With this, many would be surprised to know that Stallone and Costner had almost the same salaries in their respective shows.
Interestingly enough, Costner was paid $1.3 million per episode, according to Variety, making Stallone a higher-paid actor than him.
Yellowstone and Tulsa King are available for streaming on Paramount+.
