On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Downey, 59, shared a video of himself at Depp’s A Bunch of Stuff, an immersive and experiential exhibition currently running at the Starrett-Lehigh Building in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood.
“Wow…Don’t miss A Bunch of Stuff now on exhibition at the Starrett-[Lehigh] Building in NYC,” Downey wrote in a caption to his post and tagged Depp.
“My brother JD is an artist through and through, no surprise, just delight.”
“That’s my boy! Alright, let’s take a look at the show,” Downey said at the top of the video.
His post shared a number of glimpses of artwork featured in the exhibit, set to the audio of a song by Depp’s band Hollywood Vampires.
Downey also blew a kiss into his front-facing camera at one point in the clip.

The Iron Man star’s visit to Depp’s art exhibit came just days after Depp praised his longtime friend’s acting in the new play McNeal, Downey’s first Broadway role, after attending a performance at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre.
“Most fortunate to witness my dear, brilliant friend Bob Downey and the superb cast of ‘McNeal’ last night at @lctheater.
Outstanding! Go see it if you can!!!” Depp wrote in an Oct.3 Instagram post of his own.
Depp additionally took to social media to congratulate Downey after the Oppenheimer star won an Academy Award at the 2024 Oscars back in March.
At that time, he shared two photos of him and Downey at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards to his Instagram Stories, writing in a caption, “congrats to my dear friend.”

“Through the magic and madness of life, art has been my sanctuary,” he told PEOPLE in a statement about the project in September.
“These pieces, born of different stages of my journey are a residue of a life lived.
Creation is not always a comfortable process, but for me it’s a necessary one.”
