Be it breakups, divorces, or tragedies, these two had always had each others’ backs.

Speaking on the matter, a source close to them went on to claim that Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio can apparently go months without speaking to each other, just to pick up right where they left off the next time they meet.

Kate Winslet And Leonardo DiCaprio’s Friendship Has Raised The Bar in Hollywood

There have been quite a few friendship duos in Hollywood over the years.

However, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet still stand apart for many reasons.

One of them being the beginning of their friendship on the sets of Titanic, and the growing fondness they have carried for each other since then.

Winslet and DiCaprio’s chemistry in Titanic is still hailed as one of the landmarks in Hollywood when it comes to romance.

As a result, fans across the world hoped for them to get together, as many co-actors have done.

However, romance has never been in the cards for them, but, “their friendship means a lot to them,” according to a source as per Geo News.

Going through the upheavals of life, their bond has stood the test of time, and only grown stronger for that.

The source further explained, that even if they go without communication for a couple of months, they can pick their friendship right up as if no time has passed at all.

Kate and Leo can go months without seeing each other.

But then they’ll be at a party or an event and it’s like time hasn’t passed at all.

This faith in each other is possibly what has helped them weather the many storms life threw at them, and come out with a stronger bond.

Allegedly, to the point they have become practically family to each other.

Margot Robbie Had a Huge Crush on Leonardo DiCaprio

Although romance has never been an option for Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, that was not the case for all of his co-stars.

From Catch Me If You Can co-star Amy Adams, The Wolf of Wall Street co-star Margot Robbie, to Killers of the Flower Moon co-star Lily Gladstone, all of them had harbored a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio.

Appearing in a recent episode of the Talking Pictures podcast, Margot Robbie, admitted to her crush on The Revenant star.

According to her, she was quite nervous during her audition for the movie.

My managers made me redo my audition tape five times because it wasn’t good enough.

However, she kept pushing through, as she thought she could kiss Leonardo DiCaprio right now, “and that would be awesome.”.

Lily Gladstone, too, admitted to her crush on her Killers of the Flower Moon co-star during an interview with Rolling Stones.

She confessed that she had a massive crush on the actor while watching his movie The Man in the Iron Mask, where DiCaprio portrayed the characters of both King Louis XIV and the king’s brother Philippe.

The crush was on not King Louis but Philippe, the sweet one.

He got to put all of his evil over here and all of his goodness over there.

According to her, this also helped her understand and process her character’s love for her husband better in the movie.

Where two contradictory aspects of DiCaprio’s character, Ernest, exist together at the same time.

It is certainly interesting, how so many of the actor’s co-stars had harbored or still harbor a crush on him.

However, even after knowing each other for over 25 years, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio continued to remain the best of friends without the need for romance in their relationship.

It is nothing but a testament to their friendship when after her Golden Globes award win for their second movie together, Revolutionary Road, directed by her then-husband Sam Mendes, she hugged the Inception star first, and then her husband.

It will be amazing if their fondness for each other makes them work together again on a project in the future, if anything, it will definitely make their fans happy.
