“Jenna is tired of it”: Kevin Costner Found Himself in an Uncomfortable Spot With Jenna Ortega at SNL 50 and It’s Quite Hilarious

SNL 50 was a star-packed rollercoaster of awkward moments, with Kevin Costner and Jenna Ortega hilariously squashed between a singing duel.

Saturday Night Live celebrated fifty years worth of sketches, musical performances, and unforgettable moments with a special that became the ultimate Avengers: Endgame moment for Hollywood.

Whether it was Kevin Costner or Pedro Pascal, Tinseltown’s beloved joined the party, giving an ode to television’s favorite late-night show. Of course, SNL would be incomplete without its fair share of awkward moments and we got to see one of them during Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte’s performance.

As the two stood amongst the audience and sang (argued) with each other, Kevin Costner and Jenna Ortega were sandwiched between them, resulting in hilarious reactions from the two, even if it was probably all part of the gig.

John Mulaney and the squad took center stage at Saturday Night Live‘s SNL 50 special. They dressed up, danced, and sang about the evolution of New York City over the last few decades. The skit also had the broody Adam Driver dressed in a hot dog costume as he sang to the tune of Fame. Nathan Lane followed suit, singing about vodka and cocaine.

Eventually, it was time for Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte to get their share of the spotlight. As Mulaney stated that Times Square has now gone from “p*mps to cartoon mascots,” Sudeikis began singing in the middle of the present audience, dressed like a pimp.

He was accompanied by Forte’s Elmo and the two engaged in a singing duel, all while Jenna Ortega and Kevin Costner got squished between them. Their reactions were absolutely hilarious as they looked uncomfortable at everything that was going on.

Given the fact that this is SNL we are talking about and a whole skit was going on, Ortega and Costner were probably in on the joke and decided to play along for the sake of some laughs and giggles.

Costner and Ortega are an unlikely duo but oh well, Saturday Night Live does do a fantastic job of bringing two ends of the rainbow together. Thus, seeing them share the awkward moment on camera was truly a treat in itself.

That wasn’t all though. Kristen Wiig, dressed up like a green M&M joined the party, singing a version of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables. Later, she stood above Costner and Ortega, and guided the two singers into an awkward kiss, once again squishing the actors in between.

Saturday Night Live might be full of jokes but it really is no joke! Clearly, the makers take this show seriously which is why it has ruled over our hearts for half a century now. We honestly cannot wait to see more.
