In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. My beloved children in Christ, I come before you not to comfort, but as a shepherd bearing a grievous burden. What I reveal is not from human wisdom or scripture alone, but from a divine encounter so piercing it brought me to tears for three days and nights. This knowledge was not sought; it was given by the Holy Spirit with such force that I am bound to proclaim it—not for myself, but for your eternal souls.

Before we proceed, I invite you to pray with me. Quiet your hearts and open yourself to the Spirit’s fire and wind, to receive truth that may wound before it heals. Courage is needed, for what follows will shake your foundations. If you feel called, I urge you to publicly declare in the comments: “I am the faithful remnant. I choose truth over comfort.” This is your covenant, your testimony before heaven and men.

Recently, during a retreat at Castell Gandolfo, I knelt before the Blessed Sacrament overwhelmed by the state of Christianity worldwide. Churches multiply, yet the gospel’s power diminishes. Programs flourish, but souls perish. Numbers rise, but true disciples are rare. In anguished prayer, the Holy Spirit revealed a vision of modern Christianity as God sees it—not buildings and budgets, but hearts and motives.

I saw millions of churches—from majestic cathedrals to humble chapels—bearing the cross. Yet over each hung either light or darkness. Some glowed with divine presence, alive and burning with the Spirit’s fire. But most were shrouded in shadows or thick darkness—churches filled with sincere people and educated clergy, yet utterly void of God’s presence.

The Lord said: “My son, do you see what I see? They count members, but I seek disciples. They measure success by the world, but I measure by eternity. Most bearing my name are hollow shells, beautiful tombs filled with dead men’s bones.” If these words stir your spirit, declare now: “Lord, reveal to me the true condition of my church.”

Among these countless churches, only three types bear heaven’s approval.

First, the Church of First Love. These congregations cherish passionate devotion to Jesus above all else. Like the church at Ephesus, they persevere and reject false teaching, but unlike them, they have not lost their first love. Jesus is pursued and encountered daily. Worship is heartfelt, prayers real, lives joyful abandon. Their flame burns bright, their faith genuine. If you long to belong or transform your church thus, write: “Jesus, you are my first love and my greatest treasure.”

Second, the Church of Suffering Saints. Marked not by prosperity but persecution, these believers endure hardships, imprisonment, and even death for Christ’s name. They meet in secret, stripped of earthly comforts, yet radiant with heavenly glory. They know Jesus as companion in suffering, treasure scripture as daily bread, and pray with groans and tears. If you feel called to suffer for Christ, write: “Lord, make me willing to suffer for your name.” The Western church’s comfort has blinded many, but persecution is coming; will you stand firm?

Third, the Hidden Remnant. Small gatherings meeting in homes or secret places, without formal clergy or programs, yet filled with the Spirit’s presence. These believers reject dead religion and performance worship, embracing authentic fellowship and spirit-led ministry. Often marginalized or rejected, they remain faithful. If you identify with this remnant, write: “I am part of God’s hidden remnant, faithful in obscurity.” These gatherings are not rebellion but a return to the early church’s pattern.

But beloved, many churches today are shadows of truth. They appear vibrant with professional worship and large attendance, yet are cloaked in darkness. The Lord calls them churches of deception—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Pastors have become motivational speakers, preaching prosperity and personal fulfillment, avoiding repentance, the cross, and holiness. Sin is ignored; conviction replaced by casual familiarity.

If you recognize this deception, pray: “Lord Jesus, deliver me from deception and lead me into all truth.” Beware the prosperity gospel—the most seductive and damning lie. I saw preachers in luxury exploiting the desperate, twisting scripture for greed. Millions send their last dollars hoping for miracles that never come. If you renounce this lie, declare: “I renounce the prosperity gospel and embrace the gospel of the cross.”

Finally, the Lord revealed that a great shaking is coming—a spiritual earthquake that will collapse every church built on human ambition and compromise. Only those built on Christ’s solid rock—churches of first love, suffering saints, and the hidden remnant—will stand and shine as beacons in darkness.

The time of grace is closing. The Lord is at your heart’s door, calling for total surrender—not partial, not compartmentalized, but absolute abandonment to His lordship. If you hear His voice, respond now: “Lord Jesus, I surrender everything to you. Make me part of your faithful remnant.”

Beloved, angels watch, heaven waits, and your eternal destiny hangs in the balance. Choose today whom you will serve.
