The NBA returns to Abu Dhabi for its 2025 games, featuring the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks in two preseason matchups on October 2 and 4 at Etihad Arena.

This marks the fourth time the league visits the UAE, offering fans live action on NBA TV and League Pass.

The NBA, like the last few years, is once again back in the UAE to expand its relationship with their Middle-Eastern fans.

This time, the Philadelphia 76ers will face the New York  Knicks in Abu Dhabi for two games, scheduled for October 2 and 4.

Both the games will take place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Islands, and fans are excited to see their favorite basketball players having some fun during the preseason.

The NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2025 are one of seven international showcases on the NBA calendar. There are two games that will be held over two days at the Etihad Arena on Yas Islands.

And it will be the Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks who will face each other on October 2 and 4, for their preseason show-off.

This is the fourth time the NBA has traveled to the Arabian Gulf for a show-off. Previously, the Atlanta Hawks faced the Milwaukee Bucks in 2022, the Minnesota Timberwolves faced the Dallas Mavericks in 2023, and the Boston Celtics faced the Denver Nuggets last year, in 2024.

This year, fans will be able to watch the NBA Abu Dhabi Games live on NBA TV and NBA League Pass.

The NBA Abu Dhabi Games this year not only will host the two teams during their preseason show-off.

There will also be the NBA District event, which will take place at Manarat Al Saadiyat from October 2 to 5.

There will be concerts and events where fans will get to meet basketball stars and legends, and also will be able to participate in fan events.

There is also a ‘Sunday Coffee Rave’ featuring local DJ Abu Dhabi House Movement scheduled for Oct 5.
