At 66, Madonna Finally Reveals 6 Artists She Hated Most!
Madonna — the undisputed Queen of Pop — has spent more than four decades pushing boundaries, breaking records, and reinventing herself with fearless creativity.
But in a recent interview that caught fans and media off guard, she did something she rarely does: she named names.
For the first time publicly, Madonna revealed six artists she admitted to “hating the most” during key moments of her career — a confession that sent shockwaves through the entertainment world.
Her list wasn’t delivered with venom or cruelty, but with the raw honesty that has defined her from the beginning.
“It’s not about jealousy,” she clarified.
“It’s about disrespect, dishonesty, or just plain bad energy.”
“I’ve had to deal with all kinds of people in this industry, and not all of them were kind.”
She began with one of the most unexpected names: Elton John.
While fans know the two icons have had public spats in the past — including his harsh criticisms of her live performances — hearing her speak so directly about it was still surprising.
“He insulted me for years,” she said.
“I don’t hate him now, but I hated how he made me feel back then.”
“There’s a difference.”
The second name she mentioned was Lady Gaga.
Although both are pop powerhouses, their relationship has always been complicated.
“She borrowed, copied, then pretended it was all new,” Madonna said without hesitation.
“Imitation is not flattery when you pretend to be original.”
Next came David Guetta, the French DJ and producer, who many thought might have worked with her at some point.
According to Madonna, that possibility ended quickly.
“He wanted to work on a Madonna album, then told people I was ‘past my prime.’”
“That was enough for me.”
The fourth on her list was an even deeper cut — a lesser-known feud with Mariah Carey that Madonna says was “more personal than public.”
She described feeling undermined during the mid-90s, when both were dominating the charts.
“She called me ‘fake’ in a room full of people.”
“I never forgot that.”
The fifth name? Peaches, the Canadian electro-punk artist known for her provocative style.
“She tried to out-shock me,” Madonna said.
“But it wasn’t art — it was just noise and attention-seeking.”
Finally, she named the sixth: Courtney Love.
Their clash is well-documented, from that infamous MTV incident in the ’90s to offhand comments made over the years.
“Courtney didn’t just dislike me — she wanted everyone else to dislike me too.”
“That’s hate.”
Despite listing these six names, Madonna ended her revelation on a surprisingly reflective note.
“Hate is a strong word.”
“But if I’ve learned anything at this age, it’s that acknowledging hurt is part of healing.”
“I’m not angry anymore.”
“I’m just honest.”
Her candor struck a chord with fans — many applauded her for speaking openly, while others were shocked by how direct she was.
But as always, Madonna remains unapologetically herself: bold, complex, and unafraid to confront the past, no matter how controversial.
