Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett made one of the most bizarre callouts of all time after he scored his first UFC win on home soil.

Since joining the premier promotion in 2021, ‘The Baddy’ has been able to showcase his eccentric personality to a wider fanbase.

And on Saturday night, he will compete in the biggest fight of his career thus far, when he takes on Justin Gaethje in the UFC 324 main event for the interim lightweight title.

With the lightweight scrap being the first main event of the UFC’s new broadcast deal with Paramount, the promotion may be hoping that Paddy Pimblett doesn’t cut a callout like he did back in 2022.

Pimblett threatened to ‘punch Mark Zuckerberg’s head in’ after UFC London win

Pimblett made his promotional debut in the confines of the UFC Apex in 2021, where he knocked out Luigi Vendramini.

So it only felt fitting that ‘The Baddy’s’ second outing under the UFC banner came at UFC London just a few months later, in the promotion’s first return to the O2 Arena since before the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Scouser was matched up against Rodrigo Vargas in what was deemed to be a pretty easy fight for Pimblett.

During fight week, Pimblett ended up getting into a brawl with Ilia Topuria at the UFC fighter hotel, with both fighters having to be dragged away from each other.

There was some pressure on Pimblett’s shoulders to put on an impressive performance, especially as before his fight, there had been six blistering finishes.

‘The Baddy’ went on to score a slick first round submission win, although he was caught with a few big shots from Vargas which sent his hair flickering.

However, it was his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping that ended up stealing the headlines, as the controversial Brit threatened to ‘punch Mark Zuckerberg’s head in’.

“Mr hand sanitiser boy (Topuria) can (go away), lions don’t concern themselves with the opinions of sheep, you know what I mean,” he said.

“I’ll probably rest, get a little bit fat, I done by LCL a couple of weeks ago, still got in here and subbed a man quick. But who I want to fight, Mark Zuckerberg, I’m gonna punch your head in, I’m sick of you, lad.

“Sick of you shutting my Instagram accounts down, when all I do is help charities and help people with mental health problems, you’re the biggest bully in the world, lad.”

Pimblett offers major weight update ahead of UFC 324 clash

Throughout his UFC tenure, fans have consistently talked about Pimblett’s tendency to get out of shape when he is out of camp.

In fact, the UFC star once admitted that he sometimes balloons up to over 210lbs when he is not in camp, which he has been warned against doing by several professionals.

Despite that, the 31-year-old has never missed weight before in his career, and it is unlikely that he will do so this Friday when he weighs in as he provided a major weight cut update this past Tuesday, claiming he is ‘absolutely flying’.
