Americans have been paying a lot more attention to the weather reports over the past few days as the country has been hit with a slew of heat waves and major weather events. As a result, a number of news anchors and weather people are really becoming more well-known figures.

One news anchor who has really been turning heads this summer is FOX 5’s Bianca Peters. The Emmy-winning news anchor has been on top of the New York heat wave recently and is taking some much-needed R&R now that the worst of it is over.

Taking to Instagram, Peters shared some stunning photos from a recent vacation that she took up in Sagaponack, New York. She went to the beaches with some of her friends and enjoyed some fun in the sun while wearing a blue swimsuit.

“The best weather out east ❤️☀️🌊 and the most beautiful sunsets at the end of the world…” Peters wrote.

Peters followed that up with some more sights from Saganopack, including a few photos of her time checking out some local shops while wearing a black dress:

“There are some dresses you overthink—and then there’s this one. The “I just rolled out of bed but still look put together” kind. Throw on flip flops and a hat? Done. Want to dress it up for brunch? Also done. No styling anxiety, just one of those perfect black summer dresses that never misses. @elliatt got it right.”

Peters has certainly been busy over the last few days. The heat wave in the eastern part of the United States was brutal and we’re only at the beginning of the summer.

Things are likely to get even busier between mid-July and mid-August when we reach the height of summer.

Meanwhile, hurricane season is getting underway too.

But for now, we can enjoy just a little bit of a reprieve.
