Although things between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier seemed to be getting better, things have taken another drastic turn.

The feud between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier will always go down as one of the most bitter rivalries in combat sports history.
And that was why it was a huge shock to the UFC fanbase when it was announced earlier this week that the pair of former champions will face off in the next series of ‘Alf Reality’, the Russian equivalent of The Ultimate Fighter.
The two have been in Thailand filming for the series, which Jones was part of last year when he faced off with Nate Diaz in a bizarre pairing.
Jones aims x-rated rant at Cormier after filming together
Over the years, it has seemed as though ‘Bones’ has attempted to mend his relationship with Cormier, who has seemed less forthcoming in repairing their relationship.
Despite that, earlier this week, Cormier explained what it has been like to be around Jones again while they have been filming for the series.
And although ‘DC’ seemed more positive about their relationship, claiming they are now in a ‘different place’, Jones’ recollection of the experience has been much different.
This Thursday afternoon, the former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion told Red Corner MMA that the pair will be ‘enemies for life’, launching an x-rated rant at Cormier.
“Last season I was with Diaz, (Jorge) Masvidal, Yoel Romero, it was so much fun, it was light hearted, it was cool, we hung out and made good memories together, this season against Daniel Cormier, oh man.
“What a stuffy, just d—head Cormier really is. I think if you really get to know Daniel Cormier he’s really not (a nice person), he’s an a–hole, he really is an a–hole.
“He didn’t really connect with any of the fighters here, he’s just an a–hole. I tried to make peace with him many times and he made it very clear that he wants to be enemies for life because of how lucrative it is, and he’s just, I don’t know.
“There was moments where we got to laugh but for the most part he’s a d—head. You look at the way he treats his staff members, he brought like 10 yes men out with him and literally, ‘go get me my water. Where’s my this? Why is that this’, he’s just bossing his guys around.
“And the times we weren’t filming he wasn’t very sociable with the people on set, he’s just a d—head, I think people that really work with him will know that.”

Cormier accepted to box Jon Jones
With the feud quite clearly still ongoing, Cormier did actually call Jones out for a wrestling match, threatening to ‘kick his ass’.
And not only that, but the current UFC commentator also recently admitted that he accepted to box Jones.
Despite the fact that the two remain in a heated rivalry, any future competition between the two is highly unlikely considering both of their ages and other factors.
