A huge name in Hollywood isn’t afraid to put his money where his mouth is when it comes to boxing.

Anthony Joshua on Jake Paul: 'I want to break him down spiritually and mentally' | MMA Fighting

While Jake Paul believes that he can beat Anthony Joshua this Friday in Miami, there aren’t too many people who agree with his prediction.

The boxing star has often been criticized for taking matchups against opponents that he has a significant advantage over in areas like size or age.

This is not the case for his bout on December 19, which is why so many believe that there are legitimate health concerns hanging over the fight for Paul.

One person who is backing ‘The Problem Child’ all the way was inspired to do so following a conversation with the man himself.

Hollywood executive Jon Peters says his family could earn $50 million after betting on Jake Paul

While there is one name that Jake Paul has said he won’t fight, he’s backing himself to pull off the biggest win of his career at the Kaseya Center.

In fact, there’s a strong argument to be made that a victory for ‘The Problem Child’ would be the biggest upset in the history of boxing.

One man that clearly believes that December 19 will produce a moment that no one will forget is Hollywood executive Jon Peters.

Peters, who has referred to himself as the “[Donald] Trump of Hollywood”, has worked as an executive or producer on movies like 1989’s ‘Batman’ and 2018’s ‘A Star Is Born’.

The former hairdresser and Sony Pictures head has placed $5 million on Paul winning this Friday, as was reported by TMZ Sports.

Peters, who would earn a staggering amount of money if his prediction comes true, was inspired to make this decision after personally speaking with Paul about his clash with Joshua.

He later told TMZ Live that he’s already gone one step further by convincing his family to follow suit with bets of their own, claiming that they could receive $50 million in total earnings.

Jake Paul’s rival has also bet on him to beat Anthony Joshua

It isn’t just people who admire Jake Paul from who believe it’s worth taking a risk on him to win this Friday in Miami.

Many believed that when ‘The Problem Child’ was in need of a replacement opponent, Nate Diaz would be one of the more likely options to step in.

The former UFC star was beaten by Paul when they met in the ring in August of 2023, which has clearly made him appreciate his former foe.

Diaz posted a betting slip on X last month which indicated that he’s set to win $142,000 from a $20,000 bet if Anthony Joshua isn’t the man getting his hand raised on December 19.
