Paramedics Rushed to Hulk Hogan’s Home
According to dispatch audio obtained by People, the Clearwater Fire Department and Police received the emergency call at 9:51 a.m. local time. Paramedics immediately began CPR on the wrestling legend, with lifesaving efforts continuing for over half an hour.
At 10:28 a.m., medics were reportedly still “in progress” working to stabilize Hogan before transporting him to the ambulance. Despite their extensive efforts, Hogan was declared dead at Morton Plant Hospital, according to the Clearwater Fire Department report.
What Police Have Said About Hulk Hogan’s Death
During a reported Thursday afternoon press conference, Clearwater Police confirmed they are conducting a standard investigation into Hogan’s death. Officials emphasized that “there is no foul play and no suspicious activity being investigated at this time.”
Hulk Hogan Recent Health Concerns
Just last week, Hogan’s wife Sky Daily had reassured concerned fans about the wrestling legend’s condition via her Instagram Story.
When reportedly asked if Hogan was in a coma or dying, she firmly responded, “No, he’s definitely not in a coma! His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors are true.”
Fan concerns had been escalating due to Hogan’s absence from public appearances since May. Radio personality Todd Clem, known as Bubba the Love Sponge, had alleged in June that Hogan was hospitalized with a serious condition, claiming family members were called to “say your goodbyes,” according to Wrestling News.
At the time, Hogan’s representatives pushed back against these reports, telling TMZ he was hospitalized for ongoing neck and back issues but was “by no means on his deathbed.”
