Musk’s brother urges Trump to fire Navarro.
Elon Musk’s brother, Kimball Musk, urged President Trump to fire his senior trade advisor Peter Navarro on Tuesday night.
“@realDonaldTrump Mr President, if Peter Navarro has lied to you about Ron Vara, what else has he lied to you about?” Kimball Musk said in a post on X. “Put America first and fire him!”
The post follows a fight between tech billionaire and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) leader Elon Musk and Navarro over the impact of Trump’s tariffs.

Musk called Navarro a “moron” in response to the claims the trade advisor made about Tesla’s manufacturing and assembly process.
“Navarro is truly a moron. What he says here is demonstrably false,” Musk said on X in response to a video where Navarro claimed Tesla is not a “car manufacturer” but a “car assembler.”
“Navarro is dumber than a sack of bricks,” Musk added.
He also poked at Navarro, telling him to ask “the fake expert he invented, Ron Vara.”
The clash came as Trump has announced sweeping new tariffs, including a 25 percent tariff on imported vehicles.
Navarro said parts used in his Telsa’s were imported from Japan, China and Taiwan. He argued the administration’s tariffs were aiming to use American manufacturing
Musk has advocated for a “zero-tariff situation” between the U.S. and Europe, which prompted Navarro’s criticism that the Tesla CEO didn’t understand.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt defended Musk and Navarro’s spat, arguing that “boys will be boys.”
