President Donald Trump and UFC boss Dana White are cooking up what is being said to be the greatest UFC card of all time, stacked from top to bottom with world title bouts and star fighters. Conor McGregor and Jon Jones are among the names demanding a spot, with the show celebrating 250 years of the USA.

It will also mark President Trump’s 80th birthday as he celebrates in style on the South Lawn. France was due to host the Group of Seven (G7); Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and America in Evian-les-Bains from June 14 -16, but have had to slightly move dates around.

G7 International Summit moved from June 14 due to UFC White House

According to a report from Politico, the event’s movement in dates was not explicitly credited by French President Emmanuel Macron’s office to the UFC White House show. Their official line was that it was “the result of our consultations with G7 partners.”

However, a People Magazine article later quoted a White House spokesperson as saying: “As the leader of the free world, our partners believed that President Trump’s attendance at the G7 Summit was essential. They kindly shifted dates to accommodate the US President’s schedule.”

On June 14, the date planned for the opening day of the Summit, President Trump will be with Dana White at the massive UFC event. The UFC boss recently told CBS News that he expects there to be 5,000 in attendance on the South Lawn.

“We literally just got done going through all the logistics of how to set it up there, how many people we can have,” White said. “It’s looking like we’ll have 5,000 people live on the White House lawn.

“It will be on the South Lawn and then across the street is the park, it’s called the Ellipse, I think, and we can have 85,000 people there. We’re going to have big screens and we’re going to have a stage, we’ll have music throughout the day.”
