After years of teasing he would enter the world of boxing promoting, especially after co-promoting Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather, Dana White announced his boxing promotion early in 2025.

He and the consensus savior of boxing, Turki Alalshikh then hosted their inaugural event last September, headlined by Terence Crawford vs Canelo Alvarez.

Not long after, it was announced that White’s Zuffa Boxing had signed an exclusive broadcast deal with Paramount, following the UFC and their new deal with the broadcasting powerhouse.

Since then, fans have been waiting with bated breath to find out who the promotion will sign to compete in their new promotion.

A few days ago, the UFC boss announced the main event to their first proper event, which is scheduled to take place from the UFC Apex on January 23.

White received some criticism after announcing that Callum Walsh will take on Carlos Ocampo, with fans expecting a bigger bout to headline their first full card.

And now not many days removed from announcing their first main event, reports have suggested that White has signed former IBF heavyweight champion, Charles Martin, to Zuffa Boxing.

Martin became the IBF heavyweight world champion when he beat Vyacheslav Glazkov in a vacant title fight back in 2016.

Just a matter of months later, though, Martin was knocked out cold by British boxer, Anthony Joshua, bringing his short title reign to an end.

Martin will headline second Zuffa Boxing event

‘Prince’ Charles last fought in November 2024, beating 23-10-2 professional boxer, Matthew McKinney.

The 39-year-old will reportedly take on Efe Ajagba in the main event of Zuffa Boxing’s second event, which is scheduled to take place on February 14.

Ajagba recently fought Martin Bakole to a draw, and he is a highly rated boxer who recently challenged Joseph Parker for the WBO interim heavyweight title.
