Sister Wives star Christine Brown made an “embarrassing” confession about her marriage to Kody Brown during the first one-on-one episode.

On the Sunday, May 25 episode of the TLC series, Christine opened up about her relationship with Kody and how it compares to her current marriage to David Woolley.

“You realize I loved Kody, like, four years ago?” Christine told David as they prepared to leave to film their sit-down with one-on-one host Sukanya “Suki” Krishnan.

She then boldly admitted, “So much of my life was so focused on him, and it makes me disgusted with myself.”

To David, Christine explained, “You’re always here. You’re always a constant. And I always know when you’re here. “I never knew when Kody would be around. He kept us always in suspense. But not really.”

The mom of six continued by confessing that her life “was just wrapped up in what Kody needed and what he wanted and what the family needed and wanted.”

“He didn’t just do whatever we were doing. We had to change what we were doing to accommodate him,” she revealed to Suki. “And that’s not OK. That’s not fair. That’s making it so our lives are focused on him.”

Christine concluded, “And that’s frustrating to me. And it’s embarrassing that I lived it.”

In 1994, Christine became Kody’s third wife; they welcomed six children during their more than 25 years of marriage: Aspyn,Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel and Truely. They split in 2021, and Christine married David in 2023.
