Andrew Tate has revealed that it was his fear of fighting Chase DeMoor that inspired him to take the fight at all on Saturday night.

The four-time kickboxing world champion was bloodied and beaten by Majority Decision in his Misfits Boxing debut by reality TV star DeMoor. Despite the embarrassment of defeat, he faced the music at a post-fight press conference, speaking to Bloody Elbow and other media.
Tate and his brother Tristan have both been fighting for years, but their careers at the highest level ended almost 15 years ago. And it showed on Saturday night as Andrew struggled after three rounds and ultimately was defeated.
Andrew Tate admits he ‘felt fear’ when accepting Chase DeMoor fight

In an emotional post-fight speech, Tate spoke to the media about what inspired him to take a fight years after hanging up his gloves in kickboxing. He revealed that it was fear of the bigger and younger Chase DeMoor and boxing in general that pushed him, noting that such emotion excited him generally.
He said: “When I first agreed to fight and I told Mams [Taylor; Misfits Boxing founder], it was a conversation where I was asked ‘Andrew, you’re 40-years-old, you just got out of jail, you’ve got so much going on, why would you do this? Why would you risk it all? Why would you get in there?’
“I felt a tinge of fear for the first time in my life and that’s when I knew that I had to fight. The second I felt afraid, I knew I had to fight. I can’t live doubting myself; seeds of doubt grow into forests of inaction and I don’t want that.
“If Chase and I had to fight tomorrow I’d 100 per cent go again tomorrow and 100 per cent believe in myself even though I know he just beat me, that’s who I am. So the second I knew that I was worried about it, I just had to do it. I’m not afraid to lose, I’m afraid to not try.
