Popular Pastor Sentenced to Prison Amid Scandal, Church Faces Backlash

Pastor Kendrick Oakley, a well-known figure at Destiny Life Church, was sentenced to two years in prison followed by three years of probation after pleading guilty to multiple counts of peeping tom offenses.

The charges stem from an incident in July 2024 at a Hobby Lobby in Tulsa, where Oakley was caught on security footage secretly taking photos up a woman’s skirt multiple times without her consent.

The incident came to light after a store theft prevention officer noticed the suspicious behavior and alerted authorities.
