In a conversation with her family, Kim Kardashian admitted that it was difficult to make the decision to divorce. It was not the result she wanted, but she had no other choice.

In the episode of The Kardashians aired on February 13, Kim Kardashian had a conversation with her sister ( Khloé Kardashian ) and mother ( Kris Jenner ). Khloé shared about her marriage with her ex-husband and admitted that she got married too quickly but did not regret her decision at that time. The 8X beauty said she knew she chose the right person before her marriage fell apart because of her husband’s drug addiction.

Kim Kardashian also opened up about her divorce. The mother of four admitted that ending a marriage is the hardest part and that she herself had gone through a terrible time.

“When you don’t see anything that can change a person’s personality and then they are no longer the person you know. You can’t see that person again and you can’t live with the new person,” the 44-year-old businesswoman confided.

Kim Kardashian continued: “It’s harder when you don’t want your marriage to end but circumstances force your marriage to end. When you didn’t plan for it and it’s not really the outcome you wanted but there was no other option, I think that makes it harder to move on.”

The star did not mention her ex by name, but according to People , with what she just shared, the 44-year-old businessman seemed to be referring to her breakup with Kanye West .

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West married in 2014, had 4 children together before splitting in 2021 due to “irreconcilable differences”. This decision was made after a series of scandals that the 7X rapper was the one who sparked when he revealed that he struggled with bipolar disorder.

In court documents obtained by People at the time, Kim Kardashian requested to be declared legally single before the divorce was finalized. The American TV star once said of her decision to end the relationship with Ye: “I really want a divorce. I asked Kanye to keep it private, but he didn’t. Kanye has put a lot of false information on social media about our private family issues and co-parenting . This has caused emotional distress,” she shared.

The “super butt” beauty added: “Although I want our marriage to be complete, I realize that there is no way to fix this marriage. Kanye does not agree but at least it seems that he has realized that I want to end this marriage, even if he does not want to”.

After “going their separate ways”, Kim Kardashian dated comedian Pete Davidson for 9 months . Most recently, the businessman was in a relationship with Odell Beckham Jr. However, a source from People revealed that they broke up in April 2024.

Meanwhile, Kanye West spent time with Julia Fox before being with Bianca Censori since 2022. The couple has been constantly involved in scandals, most recently their shocking appearance on the 2025 Grammy red carpet. Currently, they are causing a stir with rumors of a breakup.
