“Writing has always been a passion of mine,” Joanna shares. “It’s another way to connect with people.” Their real estate ventures flourished as well, with Magnolia Realty employing over 100 agents across Texas.
One of their most significant achievements was the creation of Magnolia Market at the Silos, which transformed Waco into a tourist destination. “We wanted to create a place where people felt at home,” Joanna explains.
The Silos became a hub of activity, drawing millions of visitors each year. “It’s incredible to see how our little shop has grown into something so much bigger,” Chip adds.
Their collaboration with Target in 2017, launching the “Hearth & Hand with Magnolia” line, allowed fans nationwide to bring a piece of their brand into their homes. “It was about making our designs accessible,” Joanna says.
“We wanted everyone to feel the warmth of Magnolia.” This partnership solidified their status as cultural icons, blending home decor with heartfelt storytelling.
