2 Chainz Responds to Kendrick Lamar’s Mention in New Track
2 Chainz recently addressed his mention in Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us” during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. He explained that Kendrick’s line was simply wordplay, referencing their collaboration, “No Lie.”
When asked about the line, “2 Chainz said you good, but he lied,” 2 Chainz clarified it wasn’t a personal attack. He saw it as part of a broader theme involving multiple Atlanta artists who worked with Drake.
The rapper added that he didn’t take offense, noting his success with Drake on hits like “No Lie” and “All Me.”
Meanwhile, producer The Alchemist shared his experience working with Kendrick on “Meet The Grahams,” mentioning its gospel sample. Alchemist also emphasized staying neutral in rap disputes, much like Switzerland.
In other news, Kendrick Lamar’s new track, likely titled “Brave New World,” will be featured in the upcoming Captain America movie.
