THE CLEVELAND BROWNS have made a major decision over the immediate playing future of Shedeur Sanders.

The former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback – the son of two-time Super Bowl winner Deion – was snapped up by the franchise in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Sanders, 23, has yet to take to the field during the Brown’s hectic pre-season schedule.

But Head Coach Kevin Stefanski has revealed the rookie will play in their final match of pre-season against the Los Angeles Rams.

Sanders has yet to play for the franchise due to a niggling oblique injury.

But he said this week of his ailment: “Everything’s good.”

Sanders will take to the pitch after starting QB Joe Flacco and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel.

And he’s played down Gabriel’s recent “entertainers” comment to CBS, which many interpreted as a dig at him.

Sanders said of the quip: “Honestly, I don’t even think about nothing.

“I don’t think about anything. If it’s not words or anything at this point, it can’t do anything to me.

“I know that God put the ability and the power within me to not even think about nobody else’s comments, not care.

It is what it is. I spoke with him. He told me on the plane.

“He came up, he was like, ‘Nah, bro, that wasn’t at you.’

“I’m not tripping, regardless of whatever it was. Nobody’s words or anything affects me.”

When asked if he believed Gabriel, Sanders replied: “Do I feel like he did? I don’t know.

“And that’s not on me to sit here and be like, ‘Oh, he did; he didn’t.’ That’s not going to change my life in any way.”
