Kieran Culkinย andย Jeremy Strongย will always have that brotherly love.
The actors, who played Roman and Kendall Roy onย Successionย from 2018 until 2023, were elated to see each other at theย 2025 Academy Awardsย in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 2. In a sweet video from the red carpet, Culkin can be seen spotting Strong from afar before running over to hug him.

Culkin, 42, and Strong, 46, went up against each other for Best Supporting Actor at the 97th Academy Awards, with Strong receiving a nomination for his role as Roy Cohn inย The Apprenticeย and Culkin ultimately taking home the win for his work inย A Real Pain.
At the beginning of his acceptance speech, theย Home Aloneย star was largely bleeped out for those watching the event from home. A video obtained byย Deadlineย later revealed it was because of theย F-bomb Culkin dropped in his passionate messageย for Strong.
“He’s right, by the way. Jeremy, you’re amazing inย The Apprentice,” said Culkin, speaking of presenterย Robert Downey Jr.’s sentimental message for Strong regarding his performance in theย Donald Trump-inspired film. “I love your work. It’s f—ing great.”
Culkin then noted: “I’m not supposed to single anyone out. It’s favoritism. Anyway, but you were great.”

Although the duo enjoyed working together on the four-season run of the hit series, both have said they donโt see themselves reprising their roles in the future.
“I feel like I should have a joke for this, butย I feel like a spinoff is a horrible idea,โ Culkin said at theย 2024 Golden Globes.
“Sometimes they work, yeah,โ he continued. โI was going to say, rememberย Frasier? We all lovedย Frasier, but not every show could beย Frasier.”

Strong echoed that sentimentย in an October 2024 interview withย The Times, going as far as to say, “Itโs not something I have any wish to do any longer. Iโm aware it is one of the main chapters of my life, but I donโt miss it.โ
“I’m sure there’s a desire for more [Succession]… But I think in terms of the role that I played, he came to his terminal point,” he later explained to PEOPLE at theย 2024 Tony Awards. “So for me, that’s something that is very happily put to rest.”
