It’s definitely not a smart move, but Manchester United star Andre Onana doesn’t seem fazed by Francis Ngannou. The goalkeeper wants another shot at ‘The Predator’ after being taken down recently. In response, the former UFC champ has playfully warned Onana about his bold wish, showing he’s ready for whatever the soccer star brings to the table.

Recently, Francis Ngannou had Manchester United fans on edge when he met goalkeeper Andre Onana at the historic Old Trafford. The two faced off in a playful sparring session pitchside, where ‘The Predator’ wasted no time taking Onana down, leaving him defenseless. Onana later shared the video on Instagram, calling for a rematch.

Ngannou playfully warned Onana to rethink his rematch request, hinting it wouldn’t end well for him. However, he mentioned being open to facing the goalkeeper again if he insists. There is no doubt that both Cameroonian stars seemed to bond after United’s gritty victory.

Unfortunately, Ngannou’s departure from the UFC put that dream on hold, leaving fans to fantasize about the fight. However, it now seems like it could happen in a cross-promotion event, with PFL CEO Peter Murray telling TalkSport MMA that both fighters are ready, and he’s just waiting for the UFC to greenlight the fight.

“I mean, we’re supportive of it. I mean, the fighters want the fight. Jon Jones wants the fight, Francis wants the fight, we want the fight, our partners here in Saudi want the fight. And so, you know, it comes down to, does the UFC want to step up to it or not? Period,” he said.
