Andy Cohen Calls Out Kyle Richards for Refusing to Discuss Morgan Wade on RHOBH: ‘Can’t Have Your Cake and Eat It Too’

Kyle RichardsΒ is feeling the flames from her latest hot seat conversation withΒ Andy Cohen.

During part two of theΒ Real Housewives of Beverly HillsΒ season 14 reunion special, the reality star, 56, defended her decision to keep quiet about her relationship withΒ Morgan Wade, after their friendship fueled rumors of a potential romance. While explaining why she no longer publicly discusses their friendship, Kyle admitted she felt “guilty” for bringing Morgan into the spotlight, claiming that the attention has caused her “anxiety, and she doesn’t want to be a part of that.”

When Andy pointed out that Morgan was a country music artist who “has music out and performs publicly,” Kyle added that the attention she’s received from the Bravo fandom is a “very different vibe.””With singing and performing comes speculation about your life,” Andy continued. “You know, you put music videos out there. She’s also experienced, I would think, greater publicity and greater attraction and interest as a result of this.”

Kyle maintained that everybody has “different perspectives” about the situation withΒ Dorit KemsleyΒ noting how Morgan became a “household name” and Andy adding that she even did a feature withΒ The New York Times.

He also confronted Kyle about appearing in Morgan’sΒ music videoΒ for her song “Fall in Love with Me,” in which the two portrayed neighbors who fall in love, despite asking the public to stop speculating about their relationship. In the video, the pair can be seen feeding each other fruit, taking bubble baths together and nearly kissing before the cameras cut to black.

“I do just want to point out, putting out a music video that is like the two of you as lovers,” Andy said. “It contributed so mightily to a conversation that was already a runaway train, and that was totally in her hands, I have to say.”

“It’s like, at some point, you can’t have your cake and eat it too,” he added. “I mean, sorry.”

Rumors of Kyle’s romance with Morgan came shortly after the former announced her separation from her husband,Β Mauricio Umansky, after 27 years of marriage in July 2023.

The two first became friends after connecting on social media and since then, they’ve spent a lot of time together fromΒ joint workoutsΒ toΒ vacations with otherΒ HousewivesΒ stars. In a previous episode ofΒ RHOBH, Kyle permanently commemorated their relationship byΒ tattooing her first initialΒ onto Morgan.

During anΒ Amazon LiveΒ session in January 2024, Kyle admitted she carried regrets about the attention she’s brought to the country singer.

β€œShe’s an artist, you know? She just wants to make music and all of a sudden she was thrust into this like, world of gossip and tabloids and traveling and having paparazzi take pictures of her,” she explained at the time. β€œShe just doesn’t like any of that.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
