Twenty-five years after the tragic car crash that shook the world, the surgeon who fought tirelessly to save Princess Diana has broken his silence, offering a harrowing account of the chaos, heartbreak, and medical struggle that unfolded in the moments following the accident.

On the night of August 31, 1997, Diana’s car collided in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris, leaving her critically injured alongside her companion Dodi Fayed and driver Henri Paul, who both perished at the scene.

For decades, the world has only known fragments of the story, but now, Dr.Jean-Marc Simon, who was among the first medical responders at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, has revealed the untold truth of what really happened.

According to Dr.Simon, the scene at the hospital was “a nightmare of conflicting priorities and fractured communication,” a phrase he repeated several times during the exclusive interview.

He described how Diana was rushed into the emergency department with severe chest and abdominal trauma, bleeding that was difficult to control, and an unstable pulse that made every decision critical.
