The British rock band Coldplay, during the concert in London, urged the audience of 80,000+ to raise their hands in the air and send love to whoever they wanted to. Band lead, Chris Martin, also asserted that,

You can send it to the families of people who’ve been going through terrible stuff, you can send it to Charlie Kirk’s family. You can send it to people you disagree with, but you send them love anyway.

This little gesture advocates the fact that political violence must end and that people get to live and work in peace. Charlie Kirk, aged 31, was shot in the neck, after which he died instantly, while en route to the hospital.

Numerous celebrities, including Mel Gibson and others, have condemned the attack, calling it the most brutal and cowardly move. Tyler Robinson, the attacker, turned himself in after realizing that law enforcement was closing in.

Turning Point USA has announced an event titled “Building A Legacy: Remembering Charlie Kirk.” A memorial event for Kirk is planned on September 21, 2025, in Arizona.

As per sources familiar with the matter, TMZ (published September 13, 2025) reports that although many are calling it a ‘funeral,’ the event is actually a memorial. Moreover, President Donald Trump also plans to attend the memorial service.

Before all this, many fans and friends, including Charlie Kirk’s family, rushed to honour him with tributes. Furthermore, his colleagues are asking for a statue to be placed in honour in the United States Capitol Building.

Erika Kirk, the wife of the late conservative political activist, addressed the nation through Turning Point USA’s website. She also promises to make sure that Kirk’s legacy continues to live on.

Charlie reached out to me personally. I felt it was important for people to understand the human side of him, not just the activist, but the father, the friend, and the man behind the public persona.

This seems like the hardest part for Adam Sandler to share the messages. The emotional weight that the Happy Gilmore actor might be carrying on is unthinkable.
